Production Engineer, Land Vehicle Programme

Our client, a defence prime, is seeking a Production Engineer to support a major land vehicle programme. The role is a contract assignment starting as soon as possible and running to 31 March 2027. SC clearance is required.

What you will do

• Support production and manufacturing activity on a major land vehicle programme.
• Apply engineering knowledge and training to production and equipment support tasks.
• Work with Army equipment management systems to support production activity.

What you will bring

• Experience of a manufacturing and production environment
• Familiarity with Army equipment management systems
• Suitable engineering qualifications and training
• Current SC clearance

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a mechanic or vehicle engineer
• Knowledge of defence procurement and support organisations and their operating procedures
• Knowledge of equipment support management
• Knowledge of quality management
• Knowledge of Army vehicles
