Role & Reponsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Salesperson, Account Manager, or Business Development Manager with a strong knack for new business development. This role is pivotal for generating leads and shaping the sales team from the ground up.

  • Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins effectively.
  • Develop and maintain new customer relationships through strategic propositions and ethical sales methods to enhance service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, ensuring all relevant information is updated.
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions as required.
  • Participate in training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.

Required skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in IT Sales or IT Technical Sales Account Management.
  • Successful experience in selling to SME, Enterprise, and Public & Private Sector customers.
  • Strong technical awareness of up-to-date enterprise-grade infrastructures.
  • Ability to process complex information and proficiency in using Internet, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and articulate complex solutions to clients.
  • Exceptional face-to-face and telephone communication skills, demonstrating success in supporting others within the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise applications, computer infrastructure, cyber security, and networking. Candidates with experience in selling AI and NVIDIA solutions are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working for systems integrators, VARs, MSPs (managed service providers), and hosting & cloud-based providers.
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent minimum; a degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 – £35,000 basic
Achievable OTE in the region of £150K+ (uncapped) + Benefits.
